Aries walked into the dorm room, tossing her backpack onto the cluttered desk. “Friday finally, am I right?” she said, flopping onto the bed beside Alissa.
The blonde roommate grinned, sipping from a steaming mug of coffee. “You have no idea how much I needed this week to end.” She stretched out, her tank top riding up to expose a sliver of smooth stomach.
Aries’ eyes lingered on the tantalizing glimpse before she forced herself to glance away, trying to maintain the casual vibe. “So, what’s the plan for tonight? Just a low-key Netflix night?”
Alissa nodded, setting her drink aside. “Yeah, perfect. I could use a break from school and work crap. We can catch up on some shows and maybe order some pizza.”
“Sounds like heaven,” Aries agreed, picking up the remote. “I’m in the mood for something cheesy and dramatic. How about that new reality dating show everyone’s been talking about?”
“Oh, hell no,” Alissa groaned, wrapping her arms around a pillow. “You know I can’t stand those types of shows. How about a classic rom-com instead?”
They settled on an old favorite, laughing and teasing each other about their questionable taste in TV. As the movie played, Aries found herself growing increasingly comfortable, her shoulder casually brushing against Alissa’s. The proximity sparked a flutter in her chest, but she ignored it, attributing it to the comforting routine of their friendship.
Before she knew it, the pizza arrived, and they were deep in a heated debate about the merits of the film’s ending. Alissa reached for a slice, her foot accidentally kicking Aries’ under the table. In a moment of playful retaliation, Aries hooked her ankle around Alissa’s, their bare skin touching.
The brief contact sent a jolt of electricity through both women. Aries caught Alissa’s gaze, and for a moment, the air thickened with an unspoken tension. Alissa’s eyes flickered with something Aries had never seen before – desire.
She swallowed hard, heart pounding in her chest. “Um, I think I need another soda,” Aries managed to stammer, swiftly extracting her leg from under the table.
Alissa watched her go, a mix of emotions swirling in her chest. She’d always admired Aries’ confidence and zest for life, but lately, her attraction had grown into something more. The proximity, the teasing, the easy camaraderie – it all conspired to make her feel something she’d never acknowledged before.
As Aries returned with the drinks, Alissa reached out, brushing a strand of dark hair from Aries’ face. “You look really pretty tonight,” she said softly.
Aries’ breath caught at the gentle touch, the sincerity in Alissa’s eyes. She felt a warmth spreading through her, a yearning for more than just friendship. “Thanks,” she whispered, her voice barely audible over the hum of the TV.
The moment hung between them, charged with possibility. Without a word, Aries set the drinks down and turned to face Alissa, their bodies now inches apart. She reached out, tracing the curve of Alissa’s neck with her fingers before tilting her head to capture their lips in a tender, exploratory kiss.
Alissa melted into the embrace, her hands finding Aries’ hips, pulling her closer. They deepened the kiss, tongues entwining, breaths mingling. The world around them faded away, leaving only the feel of each other’s skin, the rush of new sensations, and the comfort of shared desire.
As they broke for air, Aries gazed up at Alissa, her eyes shining with excitement and a hint of nervousness. “I’ve wanted to do that for a while now,” she admitted, her voice husky with emotion.
Alissa smiled, a mischievous glint in her eye. “Well, now that we’ve started, I don’t see any reason to stop.”
With that, she guided Aries down onto the bed, their bodies intertwining as they lost themselves in a passionate embrace, the night unfolding like a pleasurable dream they were eager to prolong.
