Late Summer Confession with Selene
The air is finally starting to cool at night. You can feel summer loosening its grip. I should be ready for sweaters and early sunsets, but instead I keep replaying one sticky, filthy night from a few weeks ago. This is my quiet little Confession before the season fully changes.
It was one of those late-August evenings where the heat still clung to your skin even after the sun went down. I had on a thin tank top and the shortest shorts I owned. My blonde hair was up in a messy claw clip because anything else felt like too much effort. A couple of friends and I ended up at a backyard get-together that was supposed to be low-key. Music playing low. String lights. People drifting in and out of conversations.
I wasn’t trying to start anything. That almost makes it better. I was just warm and a little restless, sitting on the edge of a lounge chair with a drink in my hand, watching the way the lights reflected off everyone’s faces. One of the guys there kept looking at me. Not subtle. Not polite. Just steady, hungry looks that I felt on my skin.
Eventually he came over and sat close enough that our knees touched. We talked about nothing for a while. The weather. The music. How ready everyone seemed for fall. The whole time his eyes kept dropping to my legs, my mouth, the way my tank top stuck slightly to my chest from the humidity. I let him look. I even shifted so he could see more.
When I stood up to get another drink he followed. We ended up around the side of the house where the music was quieter and the dark felt thicker. He didn’t ask permission with words. He just stepped in close, put his hand on my waist, and kissed me like he’d been thinking about it all night. I kissed him back the same way.
It escalated fast after that. My back hit the warm siding of the house. His hands were under my tank top, then tugging my shorts down just enough. I helped him. I wanted it. The night air on my bare skin felt illicit and perfect at the same time. When he pushed inside me I had to bite his shoulder to keep from making too much noise.
We weren’t quiet enough. At one point I heard footsteps and voices getting closer, then fading again. The risk only made me wetter. He fucked me hard and steady against the side of the house while I held onto him and tried not to moan too loud. My claw clip fell out. My hair stuck to my neck. I came first, shaking, and he followed soon after, buried deep and breathing hard against my ear.
We fixed our clothes without saying much. I went back to the party with my cheeks still flushed and my thighs still sticky. No one seemed to notice. Or maybe they did and just didn’t say anything. I stayed another hour, laughing at things that weren’t that funny, very aware of the mess he’d left between my legs.
I’ve thought about that night more than I expected to. Especially now that the air is cooler and the days are getting shorter. There’s something about the end of summer that makes memories feel sharper. Like you’re trying to hold onto the heat a little longer. That particular kind of heat.
I keep remembering the way the siding felt against my back. The way his hands gripped my hips. The quiet, desperate sounds we both made when we got close. I keep remembering how easy it was to go from casual conversation to being fucked outside where anyone could have walked by. That ease is what stays with me.
Sometimes when I’m alone I slide my hand between my legs and replay it slowly. I make myself edge to the memory of his mouth on my neck and the stretch of him pushing inside. I like how filthy it still feels even weeks later. I like that the weather is changing but my body still reacts like it’s that same hot night.
This is the kind of Confession I don’t tell everyone. Most people get the bratty, teasing version of me. The version that talks back and smirks and makes you work for it. But every once in a while I get quiet and honest about the nights that actually stuck. This was one of them.
Cooler weather is coming. Soon I’ll be reaching for longer sleeves and warmer drinks. But part of me is still standing against that house with my shorts around my thighs and a stranger’s cock buried inside me, trying not to make a sound. Part of me hopes I never fully leave that night behind.
If you’ve ever had a late-summer fuck that refused to fade when the season changed, you already understand. Some nights don’t care about the calendar. They just stay in your body, waiting for the next time the air feels a little too warm and your thoughts drift backward.
That’s my end-of-summer Confession. I’m not sorry about it. And if the memory keeps me wet well into fall, I won’t be sorry about that either.
Some nights don’t care that summer is ending…
Come help me stay warm a little longer.
